I maintain the right to display any work created on my website or elsewhere, at my discretion. If you do not want this to happen then please let me know.

A high-resolution scan of all drawings is taken and securely kept on file in case a replacement or extra copies are required in the future.

Conditions for Commissioned Works : Once an agreement has been made on the photograph to be drawn, I will confirm the price and expected time-scale for completing the work.

​

I then request a non-refundable deposit of 20% of the total price.

​

Once the photo has been agreed and the deposit received the commission is then deemed to be active.

​

Please note, once work has commenced, it will not be possible to change the photograph used. If you decide to change your mind once the commission is in progress – this is deemed to be a new commission.

​

I will email you a copy of the finished portrait for your approval and sign off before full payment is required.

​

Upon completion of the drawing and having received your final approval and sign sign off, I will use a spray fixer to fix the artwork. No further amends can be made to the drawing after this point.

​

Once approved, I will request payment of the remaining 80% balance plus the cost of sending the finished portrait by Special Delivery. 

​

You are obliged to complete full and final payment within seven days of approval. I will send you the finished portrait once the payment has cleared.

​

Methods of payment accepted are credit and debit cards, direct bank transfer, Paym or cash.

​

Refunds: No refunds will be given unless the work has been damaged, lost or stolen in transit. Photo evidence must be provided to me to enable me to claim a refund from the postal/delivery service.

​

Data protection: Visitors to my website can be assured that protection of your privacy and confidentiality are given the highest priority and that all personal information collected is held and used in compliance with the EU Data Protection Act 2018.

​

All customer contact details (including name, phone number, email, postal address and supplied photos) are kept secure and confidential and I never sell / pass on customer details.

​

By providing photographs to me in order to commission the drawing, you are consenting to my use of the photograph provided.

 

You are also giving me permission to use the finished drawing if required, for example, on my website and social media sites. There will be no issues in removing the work or not publishing it if you would prefer this not to happen. I will always check with you in advance.

​

Changes to the terms of service: I reserve the right to change the terms of service.

 

Any updated version will take effect from the time of posting on my website.

​

Price rises: I may increase my prices in the future.

​

I will honour the price advertised or quoted at the time of your initial enquiry. However, I reserve the right to refer to my new prices if a period of 4 months or more has elapsed since the date of your initial / last enquiry or my last supplied quotation.

​

Product care advice: Prior to framing the drawing, it is important to keep the pencil portrait within the sleeve it is mailed in, to avoid damaging or smudging the drawing.

​

It is advisable that you keep the drawing out of direct sunlight, heat, or damp/humid areas as this could affect the paper and appearance of the drawing.

​

Website Usage: It is your responsibility to ensure that any products, services or information available through this website meet your specific requirements.
